Steven N. Davi
Steven N. Davi is counsel in the commercial litigation department, concentrating in labor and employment law. Mr. Davi advises public and private sector clients on a multitude of labor and employment issues including hiring, disciplinary and discharge processes, family and medical leave policies and the preparation of employee handbooks. He has practiced extensively before state and federal Courts in both New York and New Jersey, as well as before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and various state fair employment practice agencies.
In 2010, Mr. Davi joined Best Buddies Long Island Chapter Advisory Board.
Mr. Davi received his Juris Doctor in 1996 from St. John's University Law School, where he was a member of the St. John's Journal of Legal Commentary and authored To Tell the Truth: An Analysis of Fiduciary Disclosure Duties and Employee Standing to Assert Claims under ERISA, St. John's Journal of Legal Commentary, Summer 1995. In 1991, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University, School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Mr. Davi is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of both the American and New York State Bar Associations.
Mr. Davi is admitted in New York and New Jersey as well as the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.
