Career Opportunities at Farrell Fritz
We recognize that, in order to advance our firm's mission, there is no more critical goal than attracting and retaining the highest quality people, in all levels and areas of our practice.
To meet this goal, we are committed to providing all of our employees with competitive compensation, the opportunity for growth, as well as a highly congenial and comfortable work environment.
Farrell Fritz frequently seeks to fill positions for talented attorneys, paralegals and professional staff at all of our locations, which currently span from New York City to the East End of Long Island. We empower all of our employees to apply their skills to the best of their ability; we value their opinions and their contributions; and we want them to feel very much "part of the family."
Attorneys
The depth of talent in each of our practice areas is a recognized strength of our firm. We therefore frequently seek to bring in experienced attorneys to join our "bench" in all of our practice areas: bankruptcy, creditors' rights, commercial litigation, corporate, banking, distressed assets, estate litigation, environmental, healthcare, labor & employment, land use & municipal, real estate, tax, tax certiorari, and trusts & estates.
Summer Associates
Farrell Fritz provides a limited number of outstanding law students the opportunity to gain experience by working in our offices each summer. These positions are highly selective. Applicants are expected to have excellent academic credentials. Ranking in the top third of the class is preferred, as is participation on legal journals and in moot court. Prior legal experience is also considered.
First-year Associates
We actively seek out recently graduated attorneys who share our commitment and values to join our firm. Unlike some firms of our size, we offer our junior associates the opportunity to work on substantial matters for major clients from day one. We feel it is this combination of "big firm" opportunity and a "small firm" friendly, collegial environment that distinguishes Farrell Fritz as an ideal place to launch a legal career.
Paralegals
Talented paralegals are an essential element of our team-oriented approach to client service. We seek paralegals with experience in each of our practice areas; we encourage them to contribute as a dynamic and valuable part of our team; and we offer them excellent compensation and opportunities for growth.
Professional Staff
As a large, diverse and growing regional law firm, Farrell Fritz is frequently in need of qualified individuals to fill administrative staff positions in our five offices. Staff members have the opportunity to continue their education within our offices, as the firm presents both CLE and professional development seminars for attorneys and professional staff. Farrell Fritz is an equal opportunity employer.
