What makes Farrell Fritz different for you and your career?
My Farrell Fritz colleagues, from staff to associates to partners, make working here a joy. It is a wonderful and unique experience to work at a firm where it truly feels like we are all rowing in the same direction.
What keeps you passionate about practicing law?
Our commercial litigation clients come from all sorts of backgrounds, industries, and fields. The variety keeps things interesting—I am always learning something new.
What is your greatest career accomplishment to date?
One of my proudest accomplishments was actually one of my earliest. As a first-year associate, I was asked to prepare a detailed, well-researched counter-point in response to our co-counsel’s (a white shoe firm) memo that cautioned against our client seeking an attorneys’ fee application in a copyright case. My memo challenging the Second Circuit’s treatment of the issue ultimately served as the bones to an argument that went all the way up to the United States Supreme Court.
What is your top source of motivation in life?
Self-improvement.
If you could work with any client or company in history, who would it be?
Any Formula 1 team.
What is your favorite thing to do in New York?
Trying new restaurants.
What is a fun fact about you?
I still have a baby tooth.
