Name: Michael Webb
Title: Counsel
Company Name: Farrell Fritz, P.C.
How do you contribute to your community or your profession?
In addition to being a member of my firm’s pro bono committee, I serve on the Long Island Advisory Board of Pro Bono Partnership, with the aim of expanding the scope of pro bono legal services that this organization provides to the Long Island community. I strive to perform at least 50 hours of pro bono legal services per calendar year. In addition, I serve on the Advisory Board of New Ground Inc., a local not-for-profit providing housing and ancillary services to homeless veterans and their families. I volunteer with the Half Hollow Hills Little League and manage a youth t-ball team.
What led you to your current profession?
A desire to work in a fast paced, impactful and meaningful profession and use my abilities to hopefully make a lasting impact on my community. Law is a second career for me; I had previously been in the marketing field and knew I could use my knowledge and skills for something greater. On a lark, I studied for the LSATs and applied to law school, and the rest is history.
