Farrell Fritz is pleased to announce the return of Rachel-Anne Scelfo as a Partner in the firm’s Land Use & Municipal practice group based in the Hauppauge office.
Rachel brings a unique perspective to her role, shaped by her experience as the Town of Babylon’s Commissioner of Planning and Development. During her time in this position, she led a team of over thirty professionals, managing the planning, building, engineering, and traffic operations for the town. Her work included overseeing Babylon’s zoning, planning, accessory apartment review, and rental boards, along with other departments integral to land use decisions and infrastructure.
Prior to her work at the Town, Rachel spent nearly a dozen years with Farrell Fritz as Counsel, where she represented clients in a variety of land use and municipal matters.
Earning her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law, Rachel received her B.A. and M.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Rachel is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
