Damian J. Racanelli

Damian Racanelli is a real estate attorney representing real estate developers, investors, landlords and tenants in a variety of transactional real estate and construction matters.

Damian has extensive leasing experience representing both landlords and tenants in the office, industrial and retail markets.  He also utilizes his experience in the real estate field to efficiently assist his clients with the acquisition and sale of commercial real estate.

Before pursuing his law degree and joining the firm, Damian worked as a general contractor in the construction industry.

• Represented a national real estate developer in the acquisition of a $112,000,000 industrial portfolio in Suffolk County, New York.
• Acted as landlord’s counsel to a New York City property owner in connection with leasing multiple retail and office locations.
• Assisted with the restructuring of the ownership interests in a closely-held real estate investor to diversify risk and facilitate future development.
• Represented a pro-bono charter school in creating a leasehold condominium and subsequently assisted with an application to the New York City Department of Finance for a real property tax exemption.
