Jeffrey Levin is a real estate finance lawyer representing lenders and borrowers in complex real estate and structured financing transactions. Jeff negotiates all types of financing transactions, including construction and permanent loans, as well as mezzanine loans, for multi-family rental and condominium housing, office buildings, industrial buildings, warehouses, and regional and strip shopping centers. With great depth of experience to draw upon, Jeff also handles workouts and foreclosures on troubled loans. His experience includes negotiating syndications and participations of interests in loans, co-lender and intercreditor agreements, and portfolio and conduit loans. Additionally, Jeff negotiates and drafts commercial leases as well as purchase and sale agreements.
A leader in the field, Jeff shares his knowledge of mortgage foreclosure and election of remedies in New York by presenting before continuing education programs organized by Practising Law Institute and the New York State Bar Association.
Prior to joining Farrell Fritz, Jeff was a partner with a major New York regional law firm where he represented lenders, owners and investors of sophisticated real estate and mezzanine financing transactions, loan restructurings and enforcement proceedings.
